Biography

Christianah A. has spent her career at the meeting point of publishing, education and the arts — working with writers on their manuscripts, building reading programmes, and helping independent authors present their work professionally. DprimeLit grew directly out of that work: a festival designed by someone who has watched too many good books go unseen.

What inspired the festival

"I kept meeting authors with beautiful books and no stage. Publishing had given them a title, but not an audience. DprimeLit is the stage I wish they'd had — open to any serious writer, anywhere, without gatekeeping."
