Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to every author participating in the festival.

Participation rules

Participation is open to authors with a published or forthcoming book. You confirm that the work you submit is yours, that you hold the rights to the material supplied, and that the details you provide are accurate.

Payment terms

Digital Placement Participation is $250 and Virtual Participation is $420, payable once. Fees are quoted in US dollars and must be paid in full before your placement is published or your session is scheduled. Accepted methods are Fiverr, Upwork and bank transfer.

Refund policy

A full refund is available if you cancel before any work has begun on your placement. Once your author page is produced or a live session is scheduled, the fee is non-refundable. If the festival cancels a session and cannot reschedule it, the affected portion of your fee is refunded in full.

Cancellation policy

Live sessions may be rescheduled once at no charge with at least seven days' notice. Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice may forfeit the session slot.

Code of conduct

The festival is a respectful space. Harassment, discriminatory language, plagiarism and disruptive behaviour in any session or channel will result in removal without refund.

Intellectual property

You retain full ownership of your work. By participating you grant DprimeLit a non-exclusive licence to display your name, photograph, book cover, blurb and session recording for the purpose of promoting the festival and your participation in it.

Limitation

DprimeLit promotes your work in good faith but cannot guarantee book sales, media coverage or any specific commercial outcome.
