What the portfolio actually does for your book
DprimeLit Editorial Desk · 9 March 2026 · 4 min read
The portfolio is the festival's permanent index. Every confirmed participant has a card with their cover, title, country, genre and the month they are featured, and it stays online after their cycle ends.
It is read by three groups: readers browsing for their next book, other authors looking for peers in their genre, and partners assessing the festival before they work with it. A listing therefore has to work as a shop window and as a credential at the same time.
Two things make a listing stronger. The first is a clean, high-resolution cover — it is the only visual most readers will see. The second is a title and genre pairing that tells the truth about the book, so the readers who arrive are the readers who will finish it.
Authors can refresh their listing during their cycle if a new edition or cover is released. Send the updated files to the festival team and the change is made within a few working days.
